How to stop snoring.

Forget CPAP? This 'Steroid-Strength' Pillow Silences Snoring On Night One.

I am taking time to write this to enlighten folks who are or have never experienced a snoring nightmare. There is no way that I can make this a real short story but I think you might be interested in something that you think could never happen to you.

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever expect to have it happen to me. I always lived in a quiet home, always was a light sleeper.

Struggle with snoring

I had put on a few pounds after the holidays and after a year I decided it was ridiculous to keep worrying about it. So, I settled into my routine.

Well, a few weeks later I noticed my wife moving to the spare room at about 2 am.

After confirming that my snoring was the cause, I just flipped out. The first mistake I made was to call a sleep specialist who touted “CPAP therapy” not cures, but at the time I didn’t care. I wanted this noise out of my home. I unfortunately signed some papers and after all was said and done I was out $3000.00 and I still had the snoring problem because I couldn't sleep with the machine.

Naturally I called and cursed them out and it seemed whatever I said fell on deaf ears. Next, I went to the drugstore and bought every product that even claimed that their product destroyed snoring. I taped my mouth, plugged my nose. By now I’m getting educated that there is more to this process than just using strips or “gadgets”.

It is extremely important that you align your airway on a daily basis and keep your neck supported in the correct position.

I did not begin to see any real positive results until after I went online and discovered Somnite. I made my first order of this specialized cervical pillow, which appealed to me in itself because it was non-invasive. I began sleeping on it and yes I saw a change immediately.

Just think that just a few nights of bad sleep can turn into resentment in a very short time so I cannot emphasize enough that you have to be diligent. I live in a busy household where we have all types of stress but none ever bothered me like this resilient snoring.

There are luxury hotels, cruise ships, and yes separate bedrooms where these issues have occurred. It’s usually a hush hush matter with respect to a marriage as you can well imagine why. Nobody is immune from the possibility of this happening to them.

Personally, it was overwhelming for me until I found Somnite.

Gradually with the alignment and support it provided I began to see positive results. It actually took me about a week to finally get a decent night's sleep without being nudged awake. Snoring is nocturnal so it ruins your life while you're unconscious.

No human can sustain sleep deprivation for a prolonged period of time but that’s what happens because it's constantly on your mind (and your partner's mind) until the sun rises.

The snoring I had must have been especially aggressive because there wasn’t an hour of the night my wife couldn't hear it at the onset. Truth be told the CIA uses sleep deprivation as a form of torture. And when it becomes self inflicted you must act.

If it were not for Somnite I just don’t know what I would have done other than trying to sleep in the guest room permanently, which just wasn’t a realistic remedy.

So, if you have a snoring problem, or even if you travel and worry about being exposed to others, get Somnite and use it everywhere. I’m talking about hotels and other types of trips you take. Use your pillow everywhere you sleep. I know you probably think that I am a snoring paranoia freak.

Somnite product

Well, truth be told after what I experienced I am and you would be as well. Do yourself a favor, even if you think it cannot happen to you, have a Somnite at the ready.

Time is of the essence when it comes to fixing your sleep.

I cannot thank Somnite enough that they had an inexpensive way to deal with this problem. I am not being compensated for this too long of a letter but I just would hate to see anyone have to go through what I did. At any rate, I hope I was able to shed some light on a growing problem that none of us are exempt from.

Everyone should have at least one Somnite which hopefully you will use every night.

Do yourself a simple favor and pick up the phone and call Somnite or simply email them at support@somnite.com, they are very accommodating as they know what you are going through. I just cannot say enough about a product that returned my life to normalcy and I'm very thankful for that.

I wish you all the best of luck in life and prosper and most importantly be happy. Thank you for taking the time to read my unfortunate encounter with the incredibly annoying snoring.

Hello Timmy,

How do I know if I snore if I live alone?

Isabelle,
If you wake up with a dry mouth, sore throat, or feel tired despite 'sleeping' 8 hours, you likely snore. You can also use snoring apps to check. Good luck!

I found that I snore sometimes but not always. Should I leave it alone or try the Somnite?

Hello Crystal, Somnite is also great to have “just in case”. This way if you notice your snoring returning, you can quickly act and sleep on the pillow.

I’m freaking out! I only found 1 solution but I’m going crazy up all night nudging him. I swear he is choking at all times. My question is my pets sleep with me and I don’t know if they are suffering as well. Will this product hurt my neck?

Hello Lynn, Snoring disrupts everyone's sleep including pets. The pillow is completely safe and since it’s ergonomically designed it’s comfortable for all-night use. Somnite stops snoring but also works on neck pain and other issues.

Very helpful thank you! We have had this problem (snoring) for almost a year trying everything we could. Not fun when you’re big and pregnant and want to sleep. I unfortunately had to bring my brand new baby home to a noisy apartment…. we moved two days ago and got rid of the old pillows. Washed and dried every piece of bedding and then used this pillow. I haven’t heard a single snore or had any interruptions. And I’m really glad this pillow is safe for my daughter and my pet.
